Ann Le Bas RE

Except for her student years, Ann Le Bas has always lived on Exmoor, where the climate and ever-changing light present a constant challenge to a landscape painter. She studied at the City & Guilds of London Art School and it was here that her interest in printmaking began. Her prints are included in the permanent collection of the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. She was elected to the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (RE) in 1960 and to the New English Art Club in 1972.
