Intervened Printmaking, engraving with paper & colour interventions
Maria del Mar Beianiab Gasca Madrigal is an award winning printmaker from Mexico, specialising in mezzotints. Graduating from the Faculty of Arts, UAEM where she would later hold the role of Professor of Printmaking.
Maria joined the International Mezzotint Society in 2021 and runs specialised workshops on the technique. Exhibiting widely in Mexico with a number of solo and group exhibitions to her name. Most recently a solo show, 'The Permanence of the Ephemeral' taking place in Oaxaca in 2025.
Maria was elected an Associate Member of the RE in 2026.
