Printmaking Residency Programmes
PARTIAL FELLOWSHIP
All RE members who wish to attend a studio residency at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica are granted a 10% discount on the studio fees.
Visiting Guest Artist Full Fellowship
Program dates are: September 1 - 30, 2026
Application Deadline: 30 October 2025
Each year a month-long Fellowship is offered to one member of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers.
This allows the Visiting Guest Artist to have keys and full access to the studios 7 days a week.
Artists are responsible for their own travel and now also their accommodation during the residency. However the RE can offer £250 towards this cost, and thanks to a generous gift by artist Phil Shaw, there is an additional £500 given to the artist chosen for this residency.
A residency is also offered to a member from the Boston Printmakers USA who arrives during the same period. Therefore it is advisable for the successful UK applicant to liaise with this member from the USA to arrange affordable shared accommodation.
