David Ferry PRE

David Ferry studied at Blackpool College of Higher and Further Education, 1974-6 and at Camberwell School of Art and Crafts , 1979-81. He became a painter and is now a leading printmaker. He studied Printmaking at Camberwell with Agathe Sorel and Frank Tinsley and at the Slade with Peter Daglish and Stanley Jones. Ferry's work is in many international and museum collections. 

David Ferry is Emeritus Professor of Printmaking and Book Arts at the Cardiff School of Art and Design, Wales, and Hon Doctor of Arts at the Southampton Solent University. David contributes to the outreach and educational work of the Sidney Noland Trust UK. This year (2018) he will curate a late series of unknown paintings by Sir Sidney Nolan in Ireland, The Celtic Image.

Until rthe summer of 2018 he was Chairman of the Chelsea Arts Club, London.
