RE GWEN MAY RECENT GRADUATE AWARD

DEADLINE TO APPLY: 28th April 2024

Each year the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (RE) holds The Gwen May Award which offers a 2 year Student Membership plus £1000 each to two recent printmaking graduates. 

 

Being a Student Member means that you are allowed the opportunity to participate in RE exhibitions for two years both nationally and internationally.

Our home at Bankside Gallery, London exhibits RE works 3 times a year. 

Due to the prize being suspended during COVID, this year any printmaking graduate who has graduated between 2020 and 2023 can apply, there are two winners from each year.

 

The award is open to anyone who has studied printmaking on an undergraduate or postgraduate course (textile submissions are not eligible).

 

All applicants must submit the following to be considered: 

  •  Six high-resolution jpegs of your work in printmaking
  •  A pdf including thumbnails and image details: title, process and dimensions of the images submitted
  •  A brief CV
